Taking the 1st step

First one must change. I first watch myself, check myself, then expect changes from others.

Gifts to me

My Parent's Love
My Father's belief in me
My Mother's support
Being invited to join my mom for afternoon coffee at Sheryls.
Long swaying swings with my father in his hammock.
My father's bristly face
My mother's reassuring back rubs

It's been known by the Masters

We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts, we make the world.

I see trees of green........ red roses too
I see 'em bloom..... for me and for you
And I think to myself.... what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue..... clouds of white
Bright blessed days....dark sacred nights
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world.

The colors of a rainbow.....so pretty ..in the sky
Are also on the faces.....of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands.....sayin.. how do you do
They're really sayin......I love you.

I hear babies cry...... I watch them grow
They'll learn much more.....than Ill never know
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world
